Overview

The objective of the Scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Economic Backward Class (EBC) who are admitted to Diploma / Degree / Postgraduate Professional courses through Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

Financial Benefits


(As Per Government Resolution Dated 07th Oct 2017, 01st March 2018, 31st March 2018, and 14th January 2019)

50% Fee Reimbursement

Reimbursement of 50% of the Tuition Fee and 50% of the Exam Fee.

Eligibility Criteria


(As per the GR Dated 07th Oct 2017, 01st March 2018, 31st March 2018, and 14th January 2019)

  • Applicant must have the Nationality of India.
  • Candidate must be a Domicile of Maharashtra State.
  • Applicant must be a Bonafide Student of the Institute, admitted to Professional & Non-Professional, and Technical courses (Diploma / Graduation / Post Graduation Degree) as mentioned in GR 14th January 2019.
  • Admission must be taken through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
  • The Total Annual Family / Guardian Income should not be more than ₹8 Lakhs.
  • Benefit is allowed for only 2 children per family in the current Academic Year.
  • Minimum 50% attendance is required in the previous semester (exception for fresh admitted students).
  • Candidate should not have a **gap of 2 or more than 2 years** during the course duration.
  • Candidates admitted under **General category** and **SEBC Category** are eligible.
  • Applicant should not avail any other scholarship/stipend.
  • Ineligibility: Deemed University and Private University students are **not applicable** for this scheme.

Documents Required


  • Mark sheet of 10th (S.S.C) & Onwards.
  • Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra State.
  • Family Annual Income certificate.
  • Undertaking: "In current year, not more than 2 beneficiary from family".
  • CAP Related document.
  • Proof of Biometric attendance (Interface UIDAI).

Renewal Policy


Renewal is based on satisfying academic progress and minimum **50% attendance** in the previous semester. Candidates must not have a break in studies exceeding two years.
