Eligibility & Key Conditions

• Caste: Students must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
• Residence: Must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
• School Type: Must be studying in Govt, Govt Aided, or Private Non-Aided schools.
• Income Limit: No Income limit is specified (though BPL status may be preferred, the primary rule is open access).
• Boards: Students from All Boards are eligible, except those studying in Self-Finance student schools.
• Attendance: A minimum of 60% attendance for the current academic year is mandatory for receiving the second installment.
• Academic Status: If a student fails a class, they are not eligible for the scheme until they pass that class.
