Eligibility & Key Conditions
- Caste: Students must belong to the
Scheduled Caste (SC) category . - Residence: Must be a permanent
resident of Maharashtra . - School Type: Must be studying in
Govt, Govt Aided, or Private Non-Aided schools . - Income Limit:
No Income limit is specified (though BPL status may be preferred, the primary rule is open access). - Boards: Students from
All Boards are eligible, except those studying in Self-Finance student schools. - Attendance: A minimum of
60% attendance for the current academic year is mandatory for receiving thesecond installment . - Academic Status: If a student fails a class, they are not eligible for the scheme until they pass that class.
