Overview

This Scheme is for students who are studying in 9th and 10th in the govt. schools or govt. aided schools.

Benefits

1) For Hosteller

Rs 350 p.m. for 10 months and Rs 1000 Adhoc Grant for books and study material

2) For Non Hostellers

Rs 150 p.m. for 10 months and Rs 750 Adhoc Grant for books and study material

3) 60% share is of Central govt. and 40% is of state govt.
4) Disbursement will happen only for the state share i.e. 40% of the total benefit allotted in a single instalment.
5)Note: No extra benefit for more than 10 months. For less than 10 months, the beneficiary will be paid for only the no. of months he attended school from the date of admission.

Eligibility

1) Student must be of SC category and studying in 9th to 10th.
2) Parents/ Guardians whose income is equal to or less than Rs. 2.50 lac per year.
3) Student must be a resident of Maharashtra.
4) Student must be studying in govt or govt aided schools.
5) All board student except Self Finance student school are eligible for the scheme.
6) If student gets fail for the year he/she is not eligible till he/she pass the class.
7) Central details would be shared through API and central will disburse at their end.

Renewal applications same eligibility criteria of new application need to follow.
